The national week itself is free and fully virtual, so you can join Mothered Media’s sessions from wherever you are, and our Friday gathering is online. Tuesday through Thursday are in-person by design: we broadcast the national session in the room and leave time for live breakouts. If your week changes after you RSVP, just reply to your confirmation email and we will pass your seat to someone else.
Tuesday starts at 3:30 PM ET. Wednesday and Thursday start at 2:30 PM ET. Friday’s virtual session starts at 1:00 PM ET. Plan to arrive 15 minutes early so we can start the broadcast on time; your confirmation email will have the exact address and any parking notes.
No. The gatherings, the national sessions, and the Socratyc Sidekick Conversation Guides you receive as a confirmed guest are all free. Our space sponsors donated their rooms, and Socratyc and Socratyc Sidekick are covering the rest. You can also meet the national sponsors and Mothered Media at motheredmedia.com/national-working-motherhood-week.
Yes, and please do it early. Seats are very limited because these are conference rooms and smaller spaces, not auditoriums. Submitting the form is a request; once we confirm your seat by email, you will get the exact location, and the Conversation Guides arrive before the week starts.
Roughly 60 to 90 minutes: the national roundtable runs about an hour, then we talk. Feel free to leave whenever you need to.
Any mom who works, which is every mom. Corporate, founder, fractional, on leave, at home, in school, caring for a parent, or all of the above on the same day.
We watch the day’s national roundtable together on a big screen. Then Nicole Alos, ICF-PCC, CEC, leads a live breakout on the same topic: what landed, what you are facing, and how you might say the hard thing when you get home or back to work. You can participate as much or as little as you want.
Short, practical scripts from Socratyc Sidekick for four conversations working moms keep having: the ask, the return, the boundary, and the pitch. Every confirmed guest receives them by email, and you can keep them. You will also get a discount on Socratyc Sidekick’s Mom Track or Founder Track, so you can practice challenging conversations on your own terms.
Bring a friend, but have them RSVP separately so we can hold a seat. The in-person rooms are built for moms talking to moms.
No. The national sessions are Mothered Media’s programming and are theirs to record or not. Our breakout conversations are never recorded, and we ask guests not to record either, so people can speak freely.
Yes, and thank you for asking. We are building a small gift basket for each gathering. If you would like to contribute a product, a gift card, or a sample, email hello@socratyc.com; we will credit you at the event and here on the site.
